Intown Properties began in early 2000 in Dallas and expanded into the Austin market in 2005. As our name implies, our focus is concise and concentrated in the Niche Urban Intown Markets of Condos, Townhomes, High Rises, Lofts, Houses, and Apartments.  The vision of Earl and Charlene Hoppenrath was at the start to provide a single resource where Renters, Buyers, Sellers, Developers, and Investors can find Professional, Knowledgeable, Trustworthy, and Capable Real Estate Services. 

Like so many concepts, the Smart Car came about from pure fantasy.. Having admired them in Europe, more for their 'quirkiness' than function; Earl stumbled across one on ebay, placed a couple bids, and became the proud owner.

As Earl drove it, the first question was always, "What Kind of Millage Do You Get?". He began to think maybe people really are energy conscious. The wheels started turning (no pun intended), and the idea of the light bulbs was born. We're all aware that emissions, population, pollution, and a host of other factors are reeking havoc with our environment, but with all the scientific talk of Global Warming, Ozone Levels, Greenhouse Gases, and so on; the problem seems so staggering that most of us find it hard to comprehend.

Perhaps the solution lies more in simplicity than complexity. Rather than seeking the 'Big' answer, we should be solving the problem one step at a time, or One Smart Move at a time. Starting to make sense?

Now we know that giving away several hundred, or even a few thousand light bulbs, and driving a Smart Car isn't going to save the world But they are symbols of all the simple little things we all can do.
