Many people think of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex as just one big
area. It is actually comprised of many smaller cities, or in some cases,
sections within one

Each of the "communities" has it's own distinctive
personality and appeal depending upon lifestyle, convenience, or in some

Plano |
Plano located 19 miles north of downtown Dallas on Highway 75 is
truly a city of its own with a nationally recognized public school
system and home to many information technology and
telecommunications companies. For the sports minded Plano offers
outstanding public facilities, like the Plano Hot Air Balloon
Festival which attracts thousands of spectators each year, municipal
golf, tennis swimming, and team sports. Area lakes are an easy drive
for fishing and boating. The city is home to three country clubs,
Gleneagles, Los Rios and Prestonwood, The Hills. Willow Bend Polo
and Hunt Club, Plano Municipal Golf Course and Chase Oaks.

Addison |
Addison in North Dallas is conveniently
located on the Dallas North TollWay ten miles north of downtown
Dallas, 15 miles from DFW Airport and 9 miles from Love Field
Airport and is gradually moving away from its small town image with
several major corporations headquartered there. You will find
beautifully landscaped communities and not far away, large malls
like The Galleria and Valley View plus many restaurants close by.
Even though Addison has "come of age" in the past few years, the
town has managed to retain something of its home town atmosphere.

With it's Old Town ambiance and antique
store fronts, some dating from the turn of the century, Lewisville
has many antique shops and malls, boutiques, craft stores and
restaurants. Its sister city Flower Mound lies just to the west, and
offers a wide choice of beautiful homes in all price ranges.
In addition, nearby Grapevine and Lewisville Lakes are popular
places for water sports and outdoor recreation in the Dallas / Fort
Worth Metroplex. More than a score of public parks are operated by
the Corps along the lakes 200+ miles of shoreline.
